Modulo Kinetic Version 7 powers interactive experience at the JTSE 2025
At the JTSE 2025, Modulo Pi introduced the new version 7 of Modulo Kinetic, its flagship media server platform designed to effortlessly create stunning visual experiences.
During the JTSE 2025, Modulo Kinetic was at the core of an immersive interactive experience allowing the audience to interact with several demos projected onto a wall and the floor.
The setup relied on Modulo Kinetic and its features tailored for interactivity, including:
– Support of 2D & 3D LiDAR sensors
– Internal library of effects
– Node-based programming editor
The set-up consisted in:
1 x Modulo Kinetic Designer
1 x Modulo Kinetic V-Node server equipped with 2 x 4K output
1 x Panasonic PT-RQ25 video-projector
1 x Hokuyo 2D LiDAR (Model UST-10LX) – For interactivity on the wall
1 x Ouster 3D LiDAR (Model OS0) – For interactivity on the floor
